2000+ Validation Errors

I found this when checking a random page with the W3C Validation service tool. Is this a case of a really bad web designer with no budget? Nope. The page belongs to a fortune 500 company. I’ll spare them the embarassment and keep them nameless.
“This page is not Valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional!” — What an understandment!

If you look at a lot of the major websites, not many validate properly. Not because of poor or sloppy programming practices (in general) but due to the fact a lot of their users / customers use old browsers and need hacks and old code to display the site properly.

W3C validation is very important to each and every website. If websites have warnings, errors search engine spiders reduce crawled ratio. XHTML , CSS validation will help to google natural sitemaps.

I agree that W3C validation is very very important. It def helps in your site’s SEO and 2000+ error is a joke.
